The great Sannyasin who knows the truth of all the Vedas wanders like an ignorant fool unnoticed, devoid of every sense of difference, and seeing only perfection everywhere and in all creatures. He is the One Perfect Bliss in everything. Atman is Ananda Swarupa. He is like a lion with knowledge and the ignorant elephants have been driven away to the wide forests, by his mere Presence.
The Sage atmaa supreme, silent and placid, with the ground under the tree as his resting place, and with his palm as the begging bowl, wearing nothing but only the jewel of non attachment.
Without mind, thought, intellect and ego, he becomes an introvert and prefers to be silent always.
The mind is like a restless deer, wandering here and there in the jungle. With that excellence, he sheds his illusion, of body consciousness.
What is the profit for me? He looked wild and insane.
But a Jnani’s Presence is like a Sourabha, celestrial fragrance and spreads that fragrance in all his surroundings. The Jnani is alike a fattened elephant, deserted by all the other animals in the jungle and moves about freely and climbs the mountains at his will. Whatever that has not come to him, he has no regret either. And merged in the sameness of the Supreme Being. The Avadhuta alone, pure in evenness of feeling, Abides happy in an empty dwelling place. Only through his mercy and grace, one can perceive him. He is the Vilawa, the Past and the Future. Unique he triumphs, wandering at will, in the forest of Fearlessness, having felled the cruel tiger called Chitta mentality with the sharp edged sword of his brave mind manas.
Avadhuta Gita describes him. The Jnani is thus fearless and in his Presence no one else can also have fear. He enjoys with his Pure Intellect, as a damsel, in the palatial mansion of divine bliss.
He dispels vilass ignorance like the raising full moon and he is worshiped even by angels o f the heaven.
He cannot be visualized through your eyes, for he is experiential. He pervades in all objects, including trees. Abandoning the desert region of the worthless world, he, the good swan, sports freely in this excellent lake which is all Chit Knowledge and full of sweet waters of perfect Bliss.
